I had an after operation follow up consultation yesterday and was told that I have about 20% early arthritis to the anterior side of my knee - I am not ready for and cannot contemplate UKA and I'm very eager to know if I am a candidate for cartilage repair and a meniscus implant. I am told that you are at the forefront of this technology and am really looking forward to meeting you. I hope that there is something that can be done as I feel my life has been taken away from me since my first operation in December 07, when my surgeon removed the whole of my meniscus during what was suppossed to be a minor operation.
